How to apply

You can either complete and return the application form by post, or you can now apply online.

Application by post

1. To apply, complete an application form (pdf: 8 pgs, 126KB) and send it to the University with the required documentary evidence. You may either print out the application form (pdf: 8 pgs, 126KB), or request a prospectus to be sent. You will find an application form stapled in the middle of the prospectus. Complete the application form and submit it by post as soon as possible, but no later than 1 October, together with all the documentation listed on the form, to:

2. When the University has received your application form will send you an acknowledgement and a student number. Please note that University of London allocate a student number to everyone who applies - it does not mean that you have been accepted onto the degree. If you have not received an acknowledgement within three weeks of sending in your form, please contact the Postgraduate Admissions Office with details of your full name, the qualification for which you have applied, and the date you posted your form.

3.  University of London will notify you whether or not your application has been accepted.

4. If you are accepted, the University will send you an offer of registration, a fee slip, a registration form and a copy of the Regulations.

5. If you decide to register, you will need to complete your registration form and fee slip and return these, along with the appropriate fee, by 1 December.

6.  Study will commence in February.

Notes

  • Late applications received (after 1 October) will be considered at the discretion of the University. Inquiries should be made to the Postgraduate Admissions Office, at the Stewart House address given above.
  • Course materials are sent to students once a year (usually by courier) in January. Materials are not normally dispatched at any other time.
